This letter of recommendation is for my former employee, John Rodeman.  While john was employed at the Castleton Target, he was out Team Relations Specialist.  His duties encompassed everything from controlling personnel paperwork, hiring, terminations, team member counseling, scheduling, to all human relations generalist functions.  He was also responsible for maintaining our “Fast, Fun, Friendly” environment.  John produced the monthly newsletter, and was also instrumental at organizing weekly social activities to keep raising the store moral.

John was also an incredible asset to the team.  All of the employees quickly bonded with him and felt very comfortable to speak with him no matter how sensitive the issue.  He has the ability to learn quickly.  He took the initiative to learn many aspects of the store that were outside of his required job responsibilities.  He also completed a Professional Human Resources training course in preparation for the PHR certification exam.  He was very dependable and his follow-up skills are outstanding.  He scheduled weekly status meetings and asked for regular feedback to help him develop his strategic management skills.
